Ischgl

Just before Christmas 2020 journalist Hanna Mahlamäki and me were visiting the skiing resort Ischgl in the Austrian part of the alps for an article for Helsingin Sanomat on how the tourist industry is coping with the corona restrictions at the time. Where usually crowds of people are queuing up for the lift, drinking, eating and hanging out, there were then awkwardly empty places and spaces to be found.
