I reconnected with my roots in analog photography and took a compact film camera on a climbing trip to the famous Chamonix, France. Shooting on film forced me to slow down, to be intentional with every frame, and to embrace the imperfections that make each shot unique. With my genuinely kind and supportive climbing partner, I explored the towering granite spires and shifting alpine light, capturing not just the landscapes but the feeling of being present in them. As a bonus, I had the chance to experience the energy of a Climbing World Cup firsthand—a perfect blend of inspiration and adventure. This series is a reflection of that experience—of partnership, patience, and the raw beauty of the mountains through the grainy, unpredictable magic of film.
